The Big 3-0!

So Dave turned 30 this week! For the big day, we had Nanny and Shelley (my sister) visiting from England and we all went to the mountains. We stayed in a B&B, had a nice birthday dinner, and Dave and I went horseback riding. Unfortunately, Camlin got bitten by something and had an allergic reaction, so she missed out on the pool play during the afternoon, but had a good time nonetheless.

Camlin's favorite part had to be the birthday cake, for which she sang Happy Birthday perfectly, and repeatedly. (Check out the video below.) She was still singing it as she lay in bed that night.

Below are some pictures from the trip.

What a perfect way to spend my 30th. Thanks for the wonderful time Momma Bear, you never cease to amaze me with your thoughtfulness and creativity.

Sorry for passing my allergies on to you Baby Bear.

How adorable is Camlin singing to her Daddy... She's so cute. Glad you had a good 30th birthday weekend. However why on earth have your horses got blindfolds on? Could they see at all?

This was one of the best trips I have been on, thanks to Camlin's bedtime antics - she was so funny we were all crying with laughter. She is a wonderful little girl - thank you for sharing her with us, and for making our vacation unforgetable. XXXX

I have just read Shelley's comments and she is spot on. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to do it all over again. Camlin was the life and soul of the holiday; but I would also like to say a big thank you to Claire and Dave for letting us share Dave's birthday. xxx

PS Granddad says thank you for the new mouse mat.....he loves it!!!
and the school photo.

Good - now that you learned to ride western in West Virginia you can come to Arizona and tour the desert, we have plenty of horses for all of you and we have a surrey for Camlin.
